One Battery Cycle Per One Rotation of the Earth Around the Sun

Written by:

January is named for Janus, Roman god of beginnings and transitions. It’s either the coldest or warmest month depending on your hemisphere.

“What are your resolutions?” a friend texts me.
“Goals or hopes?” I ask.

This was the end of the conversation because my phone died. I had narrowly escaped the resolution question. Unless I received message by bird, only the sound outside my window could reach me.

Using the phone more than one battery cycle a day is wasted time. There’s nothing more direct than off.
